As Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) W VC suffered their first defeat of the season. The highly anticipated clash saw their dominance finally broken in a fiercely contested match against APR W VC, shaking up their race with Police W VC for the top spot.
Meanwhile, women of Kepler fought hard in fifth set but fell short against EAUR in a tightly contested battle. The game showcased resilience from both sides, with EAUR ladies ultimately kicking out their opponents to secure a crucial win.
However, the highlight of the night was the final showdown between APR VC and REG VC, a match that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the last whistle.
Under the bright lights of the stadium, APR delivered a stunning performance, overpowering REG in a convincing victory of three sets – null. The intensity and determination of both teams made the game absolutely brilliant, leaving volleyball fans buzzing with excitement.
APR moved closer to their playoffs spot, while now REG will face a tough opponent in a critical match on Sunday against Gisagara VC that could determine their playoff spot.
Not only those games happened on Friday but also RP Ngoma in a fifth set defeated KVC which left this Kigali team with zero won game.
Round 10 games will resume on this Saturday and Sunday as well as in Petit Stade.
