Rwandan music sensation Bruce Melodie, also known as Bruce Itahiwacu, had a super cool meet-up with Jamaican music legend Shaggy in Texas. This happened just before they both hit the stage for the famous iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour.
Bruce and Shaggy teamed up for the hit song ‘When She’s Around,’ and now they’re taking their show on the road. Tonight, they’re performing at the Dickies Arena in Dallas, along with other big names like HER, AleXa, Paul Russell, Big Time Rush, and P1Harmony.
Bruce shared a picture of their meeting on his social media, calling it a “visionary” moment. It looks like they were talking about future plans and collaborations.
“Where great minds and great food collide discussing the future with the team and the living legend,” Bruce wrote on his social media.
‘When She’s Around’ has made Bruce Melodie a global star, getting him interviews with famous people and a spot on the Jingle Ball Tour.
Not just that, but Bruce might be joining one of the biggest record labels in the U.S., S-Curve Records. This could mean even more exciting things for his music career.
After the U.S. tour, Bruce is heading back to Rwanda for a concert with Kendrick Lamar at the Move Africa Tour. Then, it’s back to the U.S. for another big show in Miami at the Amerant Bank Arena.
